Eplex7 DSP Analog Filter + Analog Distortion is a free Windows VST effect for adding filter movement, saturation and grit to audio. It pairs an analog-modeled filter with analog-style distortion, giving hobby producers a way to move from subtle tonal thickening to deliberately rough, heavily distorted textures.

Use it on synth parts that need more edge, drums that feel too clean, or guitar tracks that could benefit from extra drive. It also suits creative processing within a mix, whether you want restrained coloration or more aggressive sound shaping. The processing uses 2x oversampling to help reduce digital aliasing and keep the result smoother.

Input gain runs from 0–3x, while the output control offers a 0–2x range for adjusting the processed level. A bypass control lets you check the untreated signal, and the preset manager includes nine example settings as starting points. SSE/SSE2 optimization is designed to reduce CPU load. Supplied as a DLL, this plugin supports compatible 32-bit and 64-bit Windows VST hosts, including FL Studio and Cubase.
