EQ2V Equalizer

Mellowmuse EQ2V Equalizer brings vintage hardware character to digital mixing, combining tone shaping with analogue-modelled saturation. Push the input or EQ gain to introduce more harmonic colour, giving tracks extra weight, warmth and depth. Its low shelf covers 35–300 Hz, the mid band spans 300 Hz–8 kHz, and the high shelf works from 8–16 kHz. A high-pass filter reaches up to 400 Hz for trimming unwanted low frequencies. For drums and other bright, percussive material, the SofTran transient softener helps smooth sharp peaks—particularly useful on snares and hi-hats after a high-frequency boost. Individual band bypass controls and a phase switch add practical flexibility, while 4x oversampling and 64-bit internal processing support clarity throughout the EQ and saturation stages. EQ2V suits producers who want characterful equalization rather than purely transparent tonal correction.
