Evertone Compressor v2 Upgrade from v1

Evertone Compressor v2 is a physics-driven dynamics processor that models compression using the principle of force equals mass times acceleration, giving it a distinctly musical way of tracking envelopes without flattening transients. This upgrade is for existing v1 owners and delivers a completely refactored DSP engine with a new HiDEF precision mode. HiDEF unlocks up to X8 oversampling and higher-accuracy gain-curve calculation, smoothing envelope tracking and reducing perceived distortion, which makes it especially useful on master buses and vocal buses. X4 oversampling is available regardless of HiDEF for a solid CPU-to-quality balance. HiDEF defaults on for new inserts, switches off automatically in v1 sessions for backward compatibility, and can only be toggled while playback is stopped.
