Excitance

Excitance is a dual-process enhancement plugin that adds harmonic richness and low-end weight without pushing peak levels. Two independent parallel sidechains—an Exciter for highs and a Bass Enhancer for lows—run alongside your dry signal, so you can shape tone on individual tracks, busses, or the master. The Exciter synthesizes new high-frequency harmonics with two clipper modes: Rectifier for dense, characterful edge, or Cubic for smoother, gentler saturation. The Bass Enhancer uses out-of-phase summation and AutoTrace leveling to deliver sustained low-end weight that stays controlled on loud material. A Spectral Phase Refractor aligns bass phase for restored clarity, while Peaking and Null Fill filters, three-way Mono mode, stereo width, Density, and up to 4x oversampling round out the toolkit. It suits producers in electronic, pop, rock, and hip-hop who want louder-sounding, more present mixes without extra headroom problems.
