EXD-80

EXD-80 by Third Harmonic Studios is a virtual analog drum and percussion synthesizer for Windows, supplied as a 32-bit VST instrument. Rather than playing samples, it generates its sounds through synthesis, covering classic drum-machine tones, gritty electronic hits and twisted glitch percussion. Kick, snare, open and closed hi-hats, and percussion voices provide the building blocks for custom electronic kits. Four stereo output pairs each include a Granulator and Waveshaper, letting you shape different groups of sounds with their own effects. Host automation, MIDI continuous controller support and customizable MIDI note mappings help fit the instrument into your workflow. There are 128 user drum-kit patch slots, with 16 preset kits included. Suited to producers who enjoy designing their own beats, EXD-80 works across electro, industrial, ambient, dubstep, drum and bass, and hip-hop. Check that your host supports 32-bit VST plugins before installing.
