FabFilter Saturn 2

FabFilter Saturn 2 is a multiband distortion and saturation plugin for adding gentle warmth, gritty character or extreme sonic damage. Its 28 distortion styles cover tube, tape, transformer and guitar amp flavours, alongside creative effects for more experimental processing. Split your audio into up to six bands to shape the low end differently from the mids and highs, with independent drive, mix, feedback, dynamics, tone and level controls. Use it to thicken bass, roughen drum loops, add edge to synths or apply subtle saturation when mastering. Optional linear phase processing and oversampling provide additional control for demanding tasks. Drag-and-drop modulation lets you animate parameters, while real-time visual feedback helps you follow the movement. Saturn 2 suits producers who want both straightforward tonal enhancement and deeper sound-design possibilities in one effect.
