Fanan Team Midisquid is a standalone MIDI routing utility for Windows, built for keyboard players and producers who use multiple software instruments or DAWs during live sets and jam sessions. Rather than generating sound itself, it directs incoming MIDI to the applications you want to play.

You can connect up to 16 hardware MIDI controllers and route their input to as many as 16 virtual MIDI cables. Assign your keyboard’s MIDI CC buttons to switch between instrument or DAW destinations without navigating between application windows. For layered performances, multi-mode lets you trigger several instruments together, with support for up to 16 at once.

Midisquid also lets you divide a keyboard into upper and lower zones, route each zone to different instruments, and set separate octave positions. Setup involves connecting your controllers to Midisquid, then configuring your standalone instruments or DAWs to receive its MIDI outputs. It suits Windows-based FL Studio and Ableton Live setups where flexible controller routing, keyboard splits, and quick instrument changes matter more than working inside a single project.
