Softube Fix Flanger and Doubler pairs two modulation effects designed with audio hardware innovator Paul Wolff. Inspired by classic tape flanging and 1960s vocal doubling, the package brings movement, width and layered textures to vocals, guitars and polyphonic instruments. Fix Flanger moves from familiar pedal-style sweeps to manually controlled flanging, with a VSO mode that recreates servo motor bounce and true cross-zero tape effects. Tap-tempo sweep, selectable delay polarity and stereo widening options give you room to shape subtle motion or more pronounced sweeps. Fix Doubler takes a simpler approach, using Wolff’s Auto Double algorithm to create natural-sounding doubling, lush chorus and fuller layers. It can produce smooth doubling without flanging at delays as short as 3 ms. This effects pair suits producers who want vintage-inspired modulation with both hands-on control and straightforward vocal thickening.
