Flash

Flash by Wavesfactory is a transparent transient shaper designed to give your drums, loops, and full mixes more punch and definition without unwanted coloration. Its standout feature is a continuous Mid/Side knob, letting you shape transients in the center, the stereo edges, or any blend in between—perfect for tightening a kick while keeping overheads airy, or adding snap to a snare without disturbing the sides. A built-in clipper sets a hard ceiling at -0.1 dB, so you can push the output without clipping your master bus. The Mix control enables native parallel processing, while the Output Gain and peak meter keep levels in check. Whether you’re a hobby producer crafting beats in FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic, Flash offers a fast, musical way to add attack and control dynamics on individual tracks or the whole mix.
