Flintpope Molekules is a free sound collection for Ableton Simpler, featuring 10 textured sounds that range from spacious, evolving pads to abrasive atmospheres. Each began as a piano sample played at C3, processed through Native Instruments MOLEKULAR and recorded. The piano is rarely recognizable in the finished material, but its tonal character adds depth to the shifting results.
Each rack layers two Simpler instances playing the same sample, with slightly different modulation settings to create variation between the layers. Mapped controls cover envelope and LFO parameters, while shared rack macros adjust the balance between instances, filter cutoff and resonance, and the relative amounts of delay, grain delay, reverb and chorus. Each Simpler instance also has its own EQ and limiter alongside those effects.
Molekules suits Ableton producers looking for atmospheric layers, unconventional pads or rougher sound-design textures without starting from a blank patch. It is a sample-based rack collection rather than a standalone VST instrument, making it a focused addition to a Simpler-based workflow.
