AudioThing GAK150 is a Kontakt synthesizer built from recordings of a Gakken SX-150 Analog Synthesizer Kit routed through a Metasonix R-54 tube VCO/VCF. That pairing delivers a full, aggressive analog character, combining tube saturation with the Gakken’s raw, unstable tone. It suits producers looking for gritty synth textures, rough-edged leads and weighty electronic sounds rather than polished digital precision. The library includes 40 Kontakt instruments and three waveform sets: normal, fatter for extra detuning, and slowed for a different take on the sampled material. An LFO and envelope offer multiple modulation destinations, while a 12dB/oct low-pass filter and reverb provide further sound shaping. With 56 samples recorded at 44.1kHz/24-bit, the 137 MB package includes Kontakt and WAV formats. GAK150 requires the full version of Native Instruments Kontakt; it is a software instrument, not hardware.
