GLAZE

GLAZE is a vocal instrument from Native Instruments’ Play Series, built entirely from live vocal recordings. It’s designed to add glossy, polished vocal textures to pop, R&B, and hip hop productions without needing a vocalist in the room. The 148 presets cover stacked chords, lush pads, chopped riffs, leads, and basses, all mapped to scales so you can play natural-sounding runs and melodies straight from your keyboard. Developed with vocal engineers Curtis “Sauce” Wilson and Rochad Holiday, whose credits include Ne-Yo, Ariana Grande, and Dr. Dre, GLAZE captures a range of diverse vocal timbres. Macro controls let you shape the sound quickly, making it ideal for hobby producers who want instant vocal shine in FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic. Whether you’re sketching a silky R&B hook or adding a cutting-edge vocal layer to a hip hop beat, GLAZE delivers polished results with minimal effort.
