gravitas MDS

Gravitas MDS by Fiedler Audio is a high-end dynamics processor that combines compression and expansion with exceptional flexibility. Designed for mastering but equally at home on individual tracks, groups, buses, or full mixes, it delivers transparent dynamic control when used gently, yet can add aggressive punch to drums when pushed. The plugin supports mono, stereo, and multichannel formats up to 64 channels in plugin mode (128 in Reaper on Mac as AU), and integrates seamlessly with Dolby Atmos Composer and Mastering Console for immersive mixing. Unique features include complex compression/expansion curves, gain reduction limiting, variable filters for processing and detection, parameter linking across instances, variable channel linking, and the 3DET mode inspired by the AMEK mastering compressor. Its visual interface with meters and moving level curves makes it easy to shape dynamics precisely. Ideal for producers and engineers seeking a versatile, transparent, and powerful dynamics tool.
