GRID II is an experimental sound sequencer that bridges pattern-based instruments and playable synths. Its eight voices interact to create synthetic percussion, evolving textures, glitchy noise and pulsing drones. Rather than adjusting every voice individually, you shape the relationships between them, making sound design a process of exploration rather than precise programming.
Fill the grid to build sequences, then use signal feedback to push the results into more unusual territory. The sound palette is particularly suited to minimal and electronic music, whether you need an abstract rhythmic layer, a moving synth bed or something rougher and noisier.
