Audio Damage Grind is a distortion and sound-design effect built for producers who want to push audio beyond conventional saturation. Its three-stage signal path combines wavetable processing, algorithmic distortion and multi-mode filtering, taking sounds from gentle tube-like warmth to abrasive digital wreckage. Choose from 15 interpolated wavetables, then adjust window size and phase to reshape the incoming signal. Eleven saturation and distortion algorithms cover softer clipping textures through extreme sine warping, while eleven filter models add everything from vintage digital character to analogue-modelled MS20-style lowpass and highpass responses. A tempo-synced LFO animates the filter frequency, with final soft clipping and DC filtering helping control the output. Grind suits electronic producers and adventurous sound designers looking to roughen drums, twist bass lines or turn clean material into aggressive textures. It can handle restrained processing, but bold sonic destruction is its natural territory.
