Halloween Pumpkins by AudioThing turns real pumpkins into an offbeat Kontakt instrument for eerie atmospheres and unusual melodic or percussive parts. Its sound palette ranges from unsettling bowed textures and creepy hits to plucked rubber bands and a fake transistor organ. Recordings blend a large-diaphragm condenser microphone with a piezo attached directly to the pumpkin skin, capturing both air and surface vibrations. An experimental impulse response recorded inside a large pumpkin adds another distinctive ingredient. The collection includes 12 Kontakt instruments, five multis, up to six round-robin samples, and 76 samples recorded at 44.1 kHz/24-bit, with Kontakt and WAV formats provided. It suits hobby producers, horror soundtrack creators, and anyone looking for strange organic sounds to layer into electronic tracks. The Kontakt instruments require the full version of Native Instruments Kontakt.
