Hand Clapper

AudioThing Hand Clapper is a dedicated clap synthesizer for adding vintage drum-machine character to your beats. Inspired by a Japanese percussion synthesizer from the 1980s, it uses three internal noise sources to recreate the familiar clap sounds of the 808, 909 and HC2. A fourth, custom source lets you load your own sample when a track calls for something different. Shape the sound with a tone filter offering bandpass and peak modes, then add space with the built-in vintage reverb. The 20 factory presets provide starting points, while the preset randomiser encourages experimentation. Hand Clapper suits hobby producers making house, techno, electro or hip-hop who want a focused tool for clap parts rather than a full drum instrument. Available for Windows and macOS, it brings classic electronic percussion and custom-sample flexibility into one plugin.
