HarmonEQ by Rave Generation is a harmonic exciter EQ that adds musical saturation and presence without pushing peak levels. Instead of simply boosting frequencies, it generates harmonics across three parallel bands (LO, MID, HI), each with six saturation characters—from smooth MAIN and valve-like TUBE to transistor-style SOLID and clean EQ-only mode. Per-band dynamics (expand, compress, transient) shape envelope post-EQ, while Stereo/Mid-Side operation lets you treat center and width independently. Oversampling up to 4x keeps harmonic generation clean, and the unique De-Emphasis mode strips away the EQ boost to leave only subtle harmonic enhancement. Progressive cut filters, a Scoop control, and phase-aligned Mix round out the signal path. It suits producers and engineers who want perceived loudness and character without raising peaks—ideal for vocals, drums, buses, and mastering when used gently.
