Harpsichord

Soundiron’s Harpsichord captures the authentic voice of an 18th-century Italian Bizzi harpsichord, recorded in a warm studio in San Raffaele Cimena, Italy. This Kontakt instrument delivers the plucked-string character that defined Baroque and Renaissance music, with both piano and forte registers, glisses, slides, percussive impacts, plucks, scrapes, and taps. Two stereo mic positions—Bridge and Soundboard—let you shape the tone from intimate to roomy. Beyond the raw acoustic sounds, a suite of custom FX presets and ambient content built from the source material opens up modern creative possibilities. Use it for historically informed solo lines, continuo accompaniment, or layered textures in film and game scoring. With automation-ready controls for swell, attack, release, offset, vibrato, filter, and pitch, it suits hobby producers and composers who want a distinctive, characterful keyboard sound in FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic.
