Tracktion Hyperion is a modular synth built for expansive layered sounds, from shimmering retro textures to evolving ambient atmospheres. Inspired by the electronic worlds of Vangelis, Jean-Michel Jarre and Brian Eno, it combines digital and virtual analog oscillators, four-operator FM and wave sequencing in a flexible patching environment. Stack or split up to 16 layers, each offering 32-voice polyphony, with individual chord processing, arpeggiation and bus effects. MPE support and shared macro controls bring expressive movement to complex patches, while inter-layer modulation and audio routing open up deeper sound design possibilities. Waveform previews and modulation displays help you follow what your patch is doing rather than simply guessing. Hyperion suits producers who want rich pads, animated synth textures and custom layered instruments, with enough depth for modular enthusiasts and an approachable layout for curious newcomers.
