IK Multimedia TONEX MAX is an amp and pedal modeling plugin for guitarists, bassists and home producers who want recorded rig tones inside their DAW. Its AI Machine Modeling technology captures the sound of amplifiers, cabinets, combos and pedals, turning those setups into Tone Models you can play through in software.
You can work with a library of 1,000+ Tone Models or explore TONEX on ToneNET to browse, audition and download additional models. This makes it useful for trying different amp and cabinet sounds during songwriting, building guitar parts at home or comparing tones without setting up a room full of equipment. It also suits musicians who want to model their own gear for use in software sessions.
This Windows version supports 64-bit VST2, VST3 and AAX formats, with a standalone application for playing outside a DAW. FL Studio and Ableton Live users can load the supported VST formats into their projects. Installation requires Microsoft Visual C++ 2015–2019 Redistributable x64 version 14.27.29016.0 or later.
