iloSynth1 by iloyd is a Windows synthesizer for producers who enjoy shaping sounds with oscillators, filters and hands-on modulation. Its two oscillators and noise source provide the starting point for basses, leads and chord textures, while ring modulation and FM offer scope for more metallic or complex tones. Four-voice polyphony sits alongside mono and legato modes for different playing styles. Two filters run in series: a two-pole stage with low-pass, band-pass, high-pass and notch options feeds a fixed four-pole Moog-style filter. Separate pitch, filter and amp envelopes let you sculpt each note, with MIDI velocity controlling filter envelope depth for expressive playing. Oscillator 1 has its own pitch envelope, which can also modulate LFO2’s rate. The LFOs sync to an internal tempo setting and retrigger when synced.
