Impact Soundworks Shreddage Amp Venom is a guitar amp simulation for producers recording metalcore, progressive rock, nu metal, and other heavy styles. Its clean, crunch, and lead channels cover clear passages, dense rhythm parts, and saturated solos. The modeling follows individual tubes and circuits from the original amp’s schematic, aiming to preserve its distinctive response and substantial low end.
Tone shaping extends beyond the amplifier. Two pedalboards provide six slots each, positioned before the amp and after the cabinet. Available effects include overdrive, distortion, optical compression, three-band EQ, BBD-style delay and chorus, and reverb, with freely configurable pedal order.
The cabinet section includes a Friedman 4×12 with Greenback and Vintage 30 speaker IRs, five microphone choices, and two mic positions. Additional Shreddage Amp XTC impulse responses expand the cabinet options. You can blend two cabinets with separate level and pan controls or import your own IRs.
