InstaChord

InstaChord by W A Production is a MIDI chord plugin that turns a few controller keys into expressive chord progressions. Designed for songwriters, producers and keyboard players, it helps you explore fresh harmonic ideas without needing to finger every note. Its chord bank covers familiar major, minor, suspended, sixth and seventh chords, with five voicing options: basic, first inversion, second inversion, guitar and wide. Switch voicings to reshape the spacing of your chords, then transpose your progression into another key. For performance, assign keys to hit or strum selected chord tones at different speeds and directions, or trigger individual notes for manual arpeggios. Hold mode keeps played notes ringing while the chord key remains pressed. Whether you’re sketching a song, building a practice backing part or studying harmony, InstaChord makes complex chord playing more approachable.
