Instant Phaser Mk II

Eventide Instant Phaser Mk II brings the smooth movement and imperfect charm of a classic 1971 studio phaser into your productions. This phaser plugin adds swirling modulation to guitars, synths and other tracks, with three modes—Shallow, Deep and Wide—to shape its character. Wide applies different amounts of phase shifting to the left and right channels, making it useful for spreading mono parts across the stereo field. The Age control introduces component drift and electrical leakage, taking the sound from factory-fresh precision to increasingly unpredictable analog coloration. Shape the sweep manually, run it at a steady oscillator rate, trigger envelope-based movement from your audio or a sidechain, or control it with a mod wheel. It suits producers seeking vintage-inspired texture, expressive transitions and spacious leads without being limited to a single modulation style.
