JJP Drums

JJP Drums is a drum-processing plugin from Grammy-winning producer Jack Joseph Puig, designed to give you a commanding, professional drum sound in seconds. It offers separate optimization for top and bottom snare mics, parallel processing that enhances character, and tom shaping with a tom-friendly reverb for big, round tones. You can process two kick sounds—close and distant—while increasing sustain and adding subharmonic depth for extra weight. A built-in gate cuts ringing or delivers 80s-style gated effects. With a streamlined interface and expertly chosen defaults, it works equally well on acoustic, sampled, or synthesized drums. It’s ideal for hobby producers in FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic who want radio-ready drums fast, and it’s especially potent for EDM and hip-hop kicks. Includes 30 presets from JJP covering a wide range of styles, and pairs naturally with JJP Cymbals and Percussion.
