Jonas Eriksson Tape Fiasco 2 is a Windows VST3 multi-effect for turning audio loops into playable, evolving sequences. It suits hobby producers who want hands-on loop manipulation, glitch edits and tape-style movement in FL Studio or Ableton Live.

Four independent time-processing engines can run together in any order. The dual-grain stretcher handles real-time slowing, freezing and scrubbing, while the tape engine adds wow, flutter, stops and scratches. A rhythmic slicer creates subdivision-based repeats. BendIt takes buffer manipulation further with a seven-zone pitch control that moves from gentle instability to grid-quantized DJ-style scratching.

Beyond those engines, 25 additional effects cover spectral filtering, modal resonance, distortion, bit degradation and circuit-bending textures. A master section provides three-band EQ, compression, soft limiting and automatic gain control.

For movement and performance, parameters can be driven by LFOs, random generators, envelope followers, bezier editors and sequencers. Four performance macros and an X/Y pad each support up to five destinations with three-point crossfade curves, and their movements can be recorded as host automation.
