Tape Fiasco is a free VST3 and AU plugin for Windows and macOS that bundles three time-based effects: granular Stretch, tape-style Varispeed, and rhythmic Stutter. Each section works alone or in combination, with flexible signal routing between them. Stretch captures audio into a buffer and replays it as overlapping grains, letting you adjust speed, pitch, grain size, stereo spread, scatter, reverse, and freeze independently. Varispeed manipulates playback speed like a tape machine, while Stutter slices audio into tempo-synced repeats with control over rate, capture, pitch, gate curve, and pan.
