Journeys String Studio VS-3 Sound Bank

Journeys is a sound bank for Applied Acoustics Systems String Studio VS-3, featuring 128 analog string presets created by sound designer Gregory Simpson. Drawing inspiration from different eras, places, and cultures, the collection explores tones that suggest ancient settings, modern environments, and musical influences spanning Asia to Africa. String Studio’s acoustic character gives these sounds an organic foundation, while their expressive response makes them rewarding to play rather than simply trigger. Use Journeys to find ideas for atmospheric compositions, add a distinctive string texture to a track, or explore sounds beyond familiar synth presets. It suits hobby producers, keyboard players, and composers looking for playable, evocative material. The bank includes the free AAS Player plug-in, so you can use the sounds without owning the full String Studio VS-3 instrument.
