JV-1080

The JV-1080 software synthesizer brings Roland’s legendary 1994 rack unit into your DAW, complete with its original look, feel, and factory patches. It delivers the iconic ’90s sounds that shaped R&B, pop, hip hop, and rock—lush strings, evocative ethnic instruments, retro stabs, and more. With over 1000 waveforms, including the original 448, and expanded effects (78 MFX types plus additional reverb and chorus), it offers endless creative potential. Double the polyphony of the original, two extra time-variant low-pass filters, a step LFO, and enhanced matrix control give you deep sound-design power. Full graphical control makes tone-crafting intuitive and exciting. Whether you’re a hobby producer chasing nostalgic vibes or a modern artist looking for classic textures, the JV-1080 suits anyone producing electronic, pop, hip hop, or film/TV scores. It’s a piece of music history, reborn for your studio.
