Synodeia 2 is a Windows VST plugin that converts a monophonic audio signal into MIDI notes in real time. It detects pitch from sources like a voice or a solo instrument and sends MIDI out messages, letting you drive any VST instrument or MIDI device with that input. The plugin includes an octave shift control, a built-in sine tone for testing and measurement with adjustable decay time, input volume and accuracy settings, and a bypass for monitoring the incoming signal. A MIDI output monitor shows the messages being generated. The package also includes an ‘Fmin chords’ soundfont for testing sung melodies against generated accompaniment. It is aimed at hobby producers who want to experiment with vocal-to-MIDI control, hum a bassline into a synth, or trigger parts hands-free. It runs on Windows as a 32-bit VST plugin, so it fits into typical FL Studio, Ableton Live, or other VST-compatible setups. No extra features beyond pitch-to-MIDI conversion, octave shifting, test tone, input monitoring, and MIDI monitoring are implied.
