Klavee

Klavee by Sampleson brings the rare Czech Klaviphon electric piano into your DAW through spectral modelling based on recordings of the original instrument. This unusual 1960s keyboard uses reeds plucked by wooden hammers, producing a familiar reed-style electric piano tone in the lower octaves and a distinctive, kalimba-like character higher up. That contrast makes Klavee an appealing choice for mellow chords, delicate melodies and keyboard parts that need something beyond a conventional electric piano. Real-time spectral transformations shape the sound without velocity switching, while built-in Ambient, Drive and Stereo Delay effects add space, grit and movement. At just 35 MB, it offers a compact setup with a scalable HD interface. Klavee suits curious producers, electric piano collectors and players seeking an uncommon vintage voice. Windows and Mac plugin and standalone versions are included, with no third-party player or online activation required.
