SE PolyMod KX by KX77FREE is a free virtual analog synthesizer for Windows, aimed at producers who enjoy programming vintage-style leads and exploring 1970s-inspired sounds. Its four-voice architecture combines three oscillators with five waveforms, oscillator sync, a noise generator, and an EQ-equipped ring modulator.
Sound shaping centers on two multimode filters, with SVF, Moog, and Korg options plus saturation. A 12-by-12 modulation matrix, eight KXMOD modulation sources, four polyphonic envelopes, and adjustable keyboard tracking give hobbyist sound designers plenty of ways to add movement and expression. The monophonic LFO includes an ADSR envelope and can also serve as an oscillator.
For finishing patches, SE PolyMod KX provides stereo routing and two delays with host-synced timing, multimode filtering, and modulation. An XY joystick and full MIDI learn support hands-on control, while a scope and frequency display help you monitor sounds. Switchable 2x, 3x, and 4x oversampling is included, alongside internal FXP/FXB management and 104 retro-focused presets. Supplied SynthEdit project files and skin elements also make it useful for users interested in studying its construction.
