Lifeline Wear

Lifeline Wear by Excite Audio is a creative texture effect that uses noise, hum, artefacts and dropouts to shape the tone and feel of any sound. Choose from three wear modes – Tape, Vinyl and Cassette – each with an Age control that adds saturation and deterioration over time. Four noise layers (Amp hiss, Hum, Mechanical whir and Dust) can be ducked or triggered by input audio, letting you turn noise into a musical element. Sync artefacts and dropouts to your project tempo for rhythmic gating and subtle movement. The interactive display reacts to your audio, making it easy to dial in everything from subtle realism to full lo-fi character. Ideal for producers and sound designers working in FL Studio, Ableton or Logic who want to add life, grit or rhythmic texture to drums, synths, vocals or full mixes. Zero latency and a resizable UI keep it workflow-friendly.
