MAAT LINSurround is a multichannel dithering plugin built for the final stage of mastering and audio delivery. It combines optional word-length reduction with seven noise-shaping spectra, letting you tailor the dither noise profile to your material and delivery format. Options include TPDF, high-passed TPDF and psychoacoustic noise shaping, alongside rectangular dither for experimentation. Choose 16- or 24-bit output for finished masters, or switch to 8-bit output to hear the differences between settings more clearly. Automatic muting and plots generated by the dither engine help make the process easier to assess.
