LMDSP Superchord is a sympathetic resonance effect for Windows that adds tuned, string-like responses to incoming audio. Its 12 virtual string resonators react to your source material, creating harmonic movement, sustained textures or subtle reverb-like ambience. Use it to give guitar and piano recordings extra resonance, add a pitched layer to drum loops while retaining their dynamics, or reshape familiar sounds into unusual effects.
Designed for music producers and sound designers, Superchord offers individual and global resonator controls, plus string-model and energy settings for adjusting tone and response. An assignable LFO and envelope follower provide modulation, while filter and saturation modules offer further sound shaping. Instrument mode lets you play the resonators live via MIDI.
More than 50 factory presets provide starting points, and the scalable interface includes signal-chain metering and an integrated mini-mixer with solo and mute controls. Available in VST2, VST3 and AAX formats, Superchord fits compatible Windows hosts such as FL Studio and Ableton Live. VST3 and AAX versions also provide direct access to host automation.
