LVL-01B

LVL-01B from Tone Empire is a revision of the LVL-01 compressor, rebuilt by reconfiguring the original hardware and inspired by the classic STA-Level and its GE-6386 tubes. Designed for more compression and less distortion, it excels on drums, loops, breakbeats, bass, guitars, and synths. Machine learning algorithms deliver a more accurate emulation than circuit modeling, resulting in a convincingly analog sound that’s punchy, thick, and crunchy. You get six recovery times from slow to fast, a Drive/Compression control for vari-mu style character, output gain trim, mix for wet/dry blending, and auto-gain compensation. The fully resizable GUI and included professional presets make it easy to dial in. It suits hobby producers chasing vintage-style compression with attitude, whether adding weight to drum buses or grit to synths.
