Magicknob by Evertone Project is a one-knob effects plugin built on the EVERTONE EXPANDER engine, designed to make complex processing feel effortless. Turn the knob up to 50% and the blue arc light engages transient energy enhancement, tightening attacks and adding punch. Push past 50% into the green arc and powerful energy is applied to the whole signal, thickening and energizing the sound. A 20ms LOOKAHEAD button detects peaks in advance for more accurate envelope processing, preventing transient loss at the cost of added latency. The TRANSFORMER button adds harmonic enhancement, giving your material extra presence and texture. Insert it on a track, hit LEARN, play your audio so the plugin learns the signal, then drag the center knob to taste — auto-level keeps things balanced, and a hidden trim lives in the % display.
