MAGIX SOUND FORGE Pro 17 Suite is a Windows audio recording, editing and mastering application for music producers, audio engineers, podcasters and audiobook creators. Rather than a single VST effect, it provides a dedicated workspace for detailed audio work alongside your main DAW.
Record, edit and process up to 32 channels, with recording resolutions reaching 64-bit/768 kHz. Its editing tools cover precise audio adjustments, while zplane élastiquePro v3 handles time-stretching. For finishing tracks, the suite offers dynamicEQ, loudness visualization and mastering effects, plus options to create Red Book masters, DDPs and files prepared for streaming services.
The included collection features Steinberg SpectraLayers Pro 7, Melodyne essential, iZotope Ozone 9 Elements and RX 8 Elements, adding tools for spectral editing, pitch correction, mastering and restoration. VST and ARA2 support expand its processing workflow.
Version 17 also includes a compact Remote Recording window, an ACX Export wizard for audiobook delivery and reusable export presets with post-processing effects. These features make it useful for producers who regularly clean up recordings, prepare samples or deliver finished audio.
