Marco Polo Drums

Marco Polo Drums is a Play Series instrument from Native Instruments built for authentic boom bap production. Curated by producer Marco Polo, whose credits include Rakim, Scarface, and Westside Gunn, it delivers drum kits with raw, dusty character and heavy swing. Each kit includes 16 MIDI groove patterns you can drag into any DAW for instant beats. Custom macro effects let you shape the grit and punch to taste. The sound is unmistakably golden-era hip hop: kicks with weight, snares with snap, and hi-hats full of texture. It suits beatmakers and hobby producers making classic or modern hip hop, especially those wanting ready-made grooves without sacrificing control. Just load a kit and start programming. Part of the Play Series, it offers inspiring presets and real-time tweaking in an intuitive interface, whether you’re new to production or a seasoned pro.
