MAutoAlign

MAutoAlign by MeldaProduction is an automatic phase alignment plugin for recordings made with multiple microphones. It helps reduce cancellations that can leave combined tracks sounding thin or lacking punch, making it useful for drum kits, miked instruments and other multi-mic sessions. Insert an instance on each track you want to align, then start the analysis: the instances communicate automatically, without sidechain routing. MAutoAlign calculates suitable delays and polarity inversions to improve how the tracks combine. Its default processing uses no filtering, preserving the signal’s character while helping recover clearer attacks and a more solid sound. Optional spectral phase compensation addresses phase differences across individual frequencies, including those introduced by microphones, recording equipment or earlier processing. Cancellation meters help you assess the results. It suits home producers and recording engineers who want a straightforward alternative to manually nudging tracks into alignment.
