MBitFunMB

MBitFunMB by MeldaProduction is a multiband distortion effect for producers who want to push digital grit beyond conventional bitcrushing. It reduces incoming audio to 1–16-bit fixed-point precision, then lets you manipulate individual bits across up to six independent bands. Four processors can combine bits with shifted or delayed samples, or audio fed through the sidechain, before a low-pass filter shapes the result. Use it to roughen drum loops, give synth bass an abrasive edge, or turn clean sounds into aggressive textures. It can also add subtler character when used sparingly. Four modulators bring movement using sources including LFOs, envelope generators, audio level followers, randomization and pitch detection. With 16x upsampling, mid/side processing and a resizable interface, MBitFunMB suits electronic producers and sound designers who enjoy detailed control over distortion.
