MEGURINE LUKA V4X is a bilingual vocal synthesizer plugin from Crypton Future Media, based on the voice of Japanese voice actress Yuu Asakawa. It includes two English and two Japanese voice databases, each optimized for Cross Synthesis (voice morphing) and Growl functions, letting you shift vocal tension and add growl-like expressions. The new E.V.E.C. (Enhanced Voice Expression Control) function in Japanese lets you vary tension, breath length and intensity, and consonant emphasis per note, so you can move from soft whispers to powerful high vocals within one song. The package includes the Piapro Studio vocal editor for pitch and expression control, plus Cubase LE with hundreds of virtual instruments. With suggested tempos of 50–170 BPM and a vocal range of E2–F4 for the Japanese database, it suits producers creating expressive vocal tracks in pop, rock, and electronic styles.
