Memorymoon is a Windows synthesizer plugin for producers who want analog-style variation, layered unison sounds and flexible overdrive. Available in VST2 and VST3 formats, it suits sound design and live playing in compatible hosts such as FL Studio and Ableton Live.
Its synth engine uses six voice cards with three oscillators, alongside a SoundFont section offering 10-note polyphony. Adjustable drift introduces differences in oscillator 1 and 2 tuning, pulse width, filter cutoff and envelope timing, helping recreate the uneven behavior of analog voice circuits. Unison lets a single note trigger anywhere from one to six voice cards.
Distortion is central to Memorymoon’s sound. Pushing oscillator mixer levels above 50 adds drive, while the second filter includes its own distortion with adjustable gain. A separate distortion effect can sit before the filter or at the output, giving you several ways to shape the signal’s grit.
For rhythmic patches, the arpeggiator, third oscillator, LFO and delay can follow your DAW’s tempo or a manually set clock. MIDI controls include modulation wheel, expression and foot-controlled filter adjustment.
