MetaPiano by Sampleson is a spectral-modelled grand piano instrument built from meticulous recordings of a Japanese concert grand in a quiet Patagonian studio. Instead of traditional sampling, a custom algorithm extracts the core characteristics of each note and noise, then regenerates the sound in real time using stacked sine waves—the same way sound occurs in nature. The result is an organic, warm piano with full-length decays, no loops, and no velocity switching. Because every note is created on the fly, each performance feels unique and responsive. With over 64 mapped timbre components—including releases, hammer and key noises, resonance, and main timbre—MetaPiano delivers hyper-detailed realism in just 60 MB with low CPU usage. It suits producers and composers who need a lightweight, expressive piano for pop, cinematic, ambient, or singer-songwriter tracks. The scalable HD interface includes impulse-response ambient reverb, master gain, wood resonance, stereo width control, and dynamic velocity adjustment.
