MeterPlugs Loudness Penalty is a loudness analysis plugin that estimates how much streaming platforms will turn down your music. It provides service-specific feedback for YouTube, Spotify, TIDAL, Pandora and Apple’s Sound Check inside your DAW, helping you assess a mix or master before uploading it.

Rather than relying solely on a general LUFS target, you can check the expected playback reduction for each supported service. Live preview lets you hear your music with that reduction applied and decide whether a less heavily pushed master would preserve more punch and dynamics. You can also identify passages that contribute to the largest penalties and use that information to guide adjustments to your mix or mastering settings.

Designed for home producers and mixing or mastering engineers, Loudness Penalty is useful when comparing loudness choices for streaming releases. This Windows version is supplied in VST2 and AAX formats for compatible hosts, including FL Studio and Ableton Live where VST2 support is available.
