AudioThing miniBit is an 8-bit synthesizer for chiptune melodies, crunchy basslines and retro game-inspired textures. Its main oscillator offers 18 waveforms alongside custom waves, while a square-wave sub oscillator adds weight an octave below. Non-bandlimited waveforms bring audible aliasing into the sound, and the built-in bitcrusher pushes things further into gritty digital territory. Draw your own shapes in the 32-step waveform editor, then use the synced eight-step sequencer to animate pitch, volume, filter settings, waveform selection or downsampling. Mono and poly modes, glide, low-pass/high-pass filtering, envelopes, an LFO and delay provide room to shape sounds beyond arcade leads.
