Model T

Sampleson Model T brings the character of a late-’70s and early-’80s electromechanical piano into a compact, spectrally modelled instrument. Its reed-based tone blends warm, dark body with a bell-like edge, while detailed mechanical noises and release sounds preserve the physical feel of the original design. Use it for mellow chord progressions, retro pop parts, soulful accompaniment or understated melodic lines. Rather than switching between sampled velocity layers, Model T provides a smooth velocity response, with controls for velocity, releases and mechanical noise. Built-in drive and reverb help shape the sound, and an optional sustain function adds flexibility. It suits producers and keyboard players who want a characterful electric piano without a large sample library or a separate player. The instrument occupies just 30MB and includes Windows and Mac plug-in and standalone versions.
