MODO DRUM Kit – Black Oyster

The Black Oyster kit for MODO DRUM recreates a legendary 1964 Ludwig Super Classic four-piece setup, modeled after the kit that powered some of rock’s most iconic recordings. Using a blend of modal synthesis and advanced sampling, it captures the authentic vintage character of mahogany and poplar shells, with a 22″ bass drum, 13″ rack tom, 16″ floor tom, and 14″ snare. Unlike static sample libraries, MODO DRUM lets you deeply customize your sound: tune each drum, adjust snare tension, change stick type, and even direct the virtual drummer’s playing style. This makes it ideal for producers chasing classic ’60s rock tones or any genre that benefits from warm, organic drums. It suits hobbyists and professionals alike who want realistic, expressive drum sounds with unprecedented control. Whether you’re writing retro rock, pop, or singer-songwriter tracks, the Black Oyster kit delivers timeless vibe and flexibility.
