MODO DRUM Kit – Metal

MODO DRUM Kit – Metal is an expansion for IK Multimedia’s physically modeled drum instrument, delivering an eight-piece kit built for aggressive, punchy rhythm sections. The shells feature a dark, fat character with bubinga construction: a 22″ bass drum, 10″ and 12″ rack toms, 14″ and 16″ floor toms, and a 14″ snare, paired with a custom cymbal set including hi-hat, crashes, China, and ride. Unlike sample-only libraries, MODO combines modal synthesis with advanced sampling to capture the kit’s materials, tuning, and dimensions, giving you deep control over drum tone, snare tension, stick type, and even the drummer’s playing style. Tune each drum to fit your mix and shape performances with realism. This kit suits metal and heavier genres, and any producer wanting a tight, powerful drum sound with flexible editing. It works in FL Studio, Ableton, and Logic on Windows.
